You control settings |
For PLT files, from AutoCAD 2000 - 2009: customers using a monochrome CTB plot style (with shading) should download the TR Trades-Forced Pen HPGL2 plotter driver: TR-TRADES(forced-pen) . . . and place it in the AutoCAD plotters directory. This will be wherever your AutoCAD installation looks for plotter drivers, this can be found in TOOLS ... OPTIONS ... FILES... under "Printer Support File Path" . . . "Printer Configuration Search Path"
NOTE: Using this method, your pen widths and shading information will be embedded in the PLT file, and we will turn pen control to OFF when we plot your files.

We control settings |
If it is the first time that you have sent plot files to TR TRADES, and you want TR Trades to control the pen settings, please attach your office CTB, PCP, or a text document detailing your preferred pen settings. We will make a pen standard for your office, and keep it on file, to use whenever we plot your drawings.
When we are controlling the pen settings - use the following two downloads in your page set-up to make the PLT files, this will create a type of PLT file where we can override and control your pen settings at our plotter: trtrades.ctb In order to find this file in your Page Setup . . . place it in the AutoCAD plot styles directory. This will be wherever your AutoCAD installation looks for plot styles, which can be found in TOOLS ... OPTIONS ... FILES... under "Printer Support File Path" . . . "Plot Style Table Search Path"
trtrades.pc3 In order to find this file in your Page Setup . . . place it in the AutoCAD plot styles directory. This will be wherever your AutoCAD installation looks for plotters, which can be found in TOOLS ... OPTIONS ... FILES... under "Printer Support File Path" . . . "Printer Configuration Search Path"
